THE TRUE MEASURE OF SUCCESS

THE TRUE MEASURE OF SUCCESS

 The Word "Success" to different people mean different things. Some associate it with Academic prowess, others Quality and Quantity of Material and Financial possessions. Yet others think "Success" is being in Leadership and, or accomplishing great, or impossible feats like Marrying 700 wives, Climbing Mount Everest, Graduating from College at age 14, e.t.c. All these are just
a fraction of what success truly is. Being successful is :

  • To have peace of heart and mind because you have God;
  • To follow God when others put detour signs on your path;
  • To love when hate is all about you;
  • To like those who push you down
  • To be able to accept criticism without letting it whip you;
  • To be able to do the work and let others receive the recognition;
  • To be able to do one's duty when critical eyes watch;
  • To be able to keep a job until it is finished;
  • To be able to bear an injustice without retaliating;
  • To be able to carry money without spending;
This in my opinion is the "True Measure of Success".
